Kelly Lang, DVM

At the age of 14, Dr. Kelly Lang began volunteering at the Humane Society of Broward County, in her hometown of Coral Springs, Fla. And the rest is history. Her volunteer role led to a job with the Humane Society of Broward County, as well as training to be a veterinary technician.

After attending college in Florida and veterinary school in the Caribbean, Dr. Lang spent eight years in the Northeast – four years in Wilkes Barre, Pa. and four years in Boston, Mass. She moved to North Carolina to escape the cold and be closer to family.

Professional interests include endocrine emergencies and resuscitation

PETS:

Currently shares her house with a toy Aussie named Gilly, a super mutt named Milty, a three legged cat named King Foo, and a Hemmingway cat named Reggie Phalange.
