Dr. Steuri’s journey into veterinary medicine began during her teenage years in Hawaii, where she shadowed a family friend at Paradise Animal Clinic. This experience solidified her love for science, problem-solving, and working with her hands—qualities that naturally led her to pursue a career in veterinary surgery.
Her connection with CARE dates to 2019 when Dr. Steuri completed an externship at the practice during her fourth year of veterinary school. This formative experience left a lasting impression, making her return as a staff surgeon a full-circle moment in her career. Dr. Steuri is committed to giving back to the profession by teaching and mentoring the next generation of veterinarians, a role she finds particularly rewarding.
A former Miss Hawaii, with roots in both Hawaii and Switzerland, Dr. Steuri brings a unique perspective to her work, deeply valuing community and collaboration.
