Heather Rosenberg, DVM

During Dr. Rosenberg’s pursuit of an undergraduate degree in biochemical research, she worked as a technician at a veterinary clinic. One day some of her friends brought her a puppy having seizures. With help from the clinic veterinarian, she nursed the puppy back to health and found it a happy home. The joy and gratification of this experience gave her far more reward than the benchwork of research, so she decided to shift her focus and follow her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian.

As a veterinarian, Dr. Rosenberg is passionate about helping pets in her care feel comfortable and supported while getting them and their owners through a challenging time. She looks at each pet as if it was her own and works to find the best outcome medically for all involved, while trying to limit the financial setback to the owner. Her goal for every patient is to reduce suffering by working hard to diagnose and come up with a good treatment plan to help the pet feel better and get back home as soon as possible.

Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys yoga, jewelry making, plant care and gardening, and anything active – hiking, running, walking, kayaking, you name it. She is also a cider and kombucha connoisseur and enjoys the Charlotte breweries.
