Dr. White has always felt a strong connection to animals, though she didn’t initially set out to become a veterinarian. While exploring career options, she shadowed a local veterinarian and quickly realized she had found her calling. From there, transitioning into emergency medicine felt like a natural fit. “I like the fast pace and the variety of medical challenges,” she says. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she values the opportunity to support pet families during stressful moments and is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care.

Dr. White grew up with German Shepherds as family pets—a connection she maintains today. With her current dogs, she participates in sheep herding and other canine sports. She also enjoys hiking and exploring Charlotte with her husband.
