Over the past several months we have been talking to our staff about the shocking videos of racism and brutality and the protests that followed. At CARE, diversity is one of our seven core values. However, we realized that upholding that core value can be challenging...
Many people don’t think about euthanasia – the word comes from the Greek for “good death” – until an animal’s last days are imminent. We all hope pets will die gently in their sleep; often, though, we have to release them from pain. Whenever the subject...
Grady, wishing you well and a good recovery. My Jack Russell, PeaPod had this also. She put up a good fight for a year, she was 15 yrs old. Praying for you.
Susan and I (Grady's parents) tried to post a review of CARE but somehow our limited tech skills kept us from posting it correctly. So here is our review! 5 Stars to CARE's (Charlotte Animal Referral and Emergency) neurology department for all that they have done for our dog Grady. Grady was diagnosed with meningoencephalitis (inflammation of the brain and spinal cord) in April and has been going to CARE for chemical infusions every three to four weeks. We live in Wrightsville Beach, NC and CARE has not only provided us with expert medical care but has also gone the extra mile to adjust their schedule to meet Grady's needs. EVERYONE has been really friendly and it didn't take us long to realize that we had found the right facility to help diagnose and treat Grady's disease. He is now in remission and even though we realize the disease could possibly return one day we find comfort in knowing that Grady once again has a happy and healthy life. Kudos to Drs. Wininger, Fauber and Kowal and all who assisted in Grady's recovery! He can actually enjoy boat rides again!😊
I love Grady!! He’s such a sweet boy and I’m so happy he’s in remission; even though we won’t see him anymore!
Congratulations Grady and all your docs at CARE 🎉🐾🦴
Great article.... and a huge thank you to Dr Campbell for helping keep our sweet Gunner alive as long as possible 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
7 months today since my Bichon baby (13 1/2) had a racquetball size tumor removed. Jake is tolerating his metronomic chemo well & enjoying life. Thanks to Drs. Lock, Walters, Dvorak and all the wonderful staff at CARE for giving me more time with my precious boy❤️.
Ha! I love it! All I know is that Dr. Bishop was such a great doctor to my Bentley. I wouldn't have cared if he wore a potato sack! CARE is the best. Hands down! Dr. Flood was amazing too. She really gave me a lot of support on Bentley's last day and I won't ever forget how I was treated. Thank you all.
Ditto. Dr Bishop took care of Maddie and we will always we grateful
