Accelerated Emergency Internship

Summary of Program

CARE offers a one-year, accelerated emergency internship (AEI) to new veterinary graduates interested in pursuing a career in emergency medicine. AEI Interns train alongside emergency doctors and specialists for their first 6 months and then work as emergency clinicians with close mentorship for the following 6 months. Interested candidates may find more information and apply for the internship through the VIRMP match program.
