Charlotte Animal Referral and Emergency (CARE) is offering a one-year rotating internship for new veterinary technician graduates. The internship will provide direct supervision, teach advanced technical skills and provide hands on experience that will give technicians confidence to advance their career.

After completing the one-year internship, the technician will be proficient in small animal anesthesia, emergency and critical care, dentistry, radiographic techniques, animal care and restraint, client communication skills and knowledge of disease processes and treatments.

Candidates must be a graduate of an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program. Experienced technicians that are credentialed (certified, registered or licensed) will also be considered.
