In 2015, CARE opened in Charlotte with a bold, powerful mission: Our founders — Drs. Laura Dvorak, Amy Fauber, and Peggy Sayer — envisioned setting a new standard by providing board-certified veterinary specialty and 24/7 emergency care with expertise and compassion. This month, we celebrate our seventh anniversary.
Pets that come through our doors often are facing serious or life-threatening illness. Pet owners count on our doctors to carefully explain all the treatment options. And to work with them on the best possible outcome for their family member.
Seven years later, our doctors and staff have saved hundreds of pets’ lives at our state-of-the-art veterinary facility.
“We are honored to be the place families turn when their pets need advanced care,” says Dr. Sayer. “We know how concerned owners are when their pets are sick. And our focus is finding the best medical treatment for the pet while creating a trusting relationship.”
CARE’s doctors and staff also have given many families the precious gift of additional time with their pets. More walks, games of fetch and no-givebacks, snuggles, and head scratches.
To celebrate our seventh anniversary, we’re sharing seven stories and photos of pets of all ages who continue to thrive Their owners tell us it’s because of the often innovative specialized or emergency treatment they received here.
Throughout the stories, you’ll find a common thread in the outcomes of the pets’ different ailments and health challenges: Genuine and overwhelming gratitude for the teams at CARE, from the front desk to the doctors to the vet techs.
